I
built this oud with the help of Richard Hankey's book "Oud
Construction and Repair". I departed a bit from his plan and used a shorter,
59.5cm scale. The oud is based on a Hunna Nahat, but is kept at Turkish tuning.
The face is Turkish Spruce, the bowl is walnut, fingerboard is African Blackwood.
