This 1925 Abdo Nahat is owned by classical guitar maker Michael Cone, and was restored by him in 2006.

In collaboration with Mr. Cone, I excecuted the cutting of the main rose (Mr. Cone supplied me with the blank of a muliti-layer walnut lamination reinforced with carbon fiber) and the two smaller roses, fabricated and cut by me of white bone. Calligraphic inlay is the original work of Mr. Abdo Nahat. I also supplied Mr. Cone with shaped bone pegs, ready for installation.

This oud is strung with copper-wound nylon multifilament and varnished gut plain strings.
